NakkaÅŸ - BaÅŸakÅŸehir Motorway PPP Project
Mersin - Gaziantep High Standard Railway Project
BaÅŸakÅŸehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital
The NakkaÅŸ–BaÅŸakÅŸehir Motorway Project is a key section of the Northern Marmara Motorway, spanning approximately 45 kilometers in total. It consists of a 25 km main route and 20 km of connection roads, starting from NakkaÅŸ Junction and extending to BaÅŸakÅŸehir via a 1.6 km cable-stayed bridge over the Sazlıdere Dam. The route includes 8 interchanges, 7 viaducts, and one major bridge.

Designed to ease traffic congestion on the TEM Motorway and improve urban mobility in Istanbul, the project provides direct access to key locations such as Çam and Sakura City Hospital and the Olympic Stadium.
The project, with a total length of 286 kilometers, starts in Mersin Province and passes through Tarsus district, Adana (city center), Ceyhan district, Osmaniye (city center), Düziçi district, Bahçe district, and Nurdağı district, ending in Gaziantep City.

Strategically, the project will establish vital connections between airports, ports, and industrial zones in the hinterland, covering major cities such as Mersin, Adana, and Gaziantep, as well as broader regional centers in Southeastern Anatolia—including Hatay, Diyarbakır, and Åžanlıurfa—and in Central Anatolia such as Ankara, Kayseri, Konya, and KahramanmaraÅŸ.
BaÅŸakÅŸehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, opened in 2020 in Istanbul, is the world’s largest seismically isolated building, equipped with over 2,000 seismic isolators. Spanning 1 million square meters with 2,682 beds, it ensures uninterrupted medical service even during major earthquakes.

Built through a Turkish-Japanese partnership between Rönesans Holding and Sojitz Corporation, the project employed up to 10,000 workers at peak construction. With 725 outpatient rooms, 90 operating theaters, and 426 intensive care beds, it serves as a major healthcare hub for the region.
